Lake Nazferiti

Lake Nazferiti sits along the Nazferiti River, one of the longest continuous waterways across the southern Eastern Kingdoms. The river traces its origins deep into the northern heights, tumbling down waterfalls from the Redridge Mountains and possibly originating as far inland as Deadwind Pass. Within Stranglethorn, the water widens into this murky lake, teeming with vicious predators like snapping river frenzies and ambush-hunting crocolisks that make casual swimming deadly.

The natural balance of Lake Nazferiti is under siege by the goblins of the Venture Company. Setting up heavy operations along the lake's banks, these ruthless profiteers exploit the jungle's timber and resources with mechanical saws, drills, and clear-cutting crews. Their sprawling base pollutes the waterways and constantly clashes with local wildlife and wandering hunters braving the vale.
