Ghost Walker Post

Perched on the dusty flats of central Desolace, Ghost Walker Post provides the Horde with an austere foothold in a hostile territory. Unlike the sheltered coastal fishing haven of Shadowprey Village, this post directly faces roaming centaur marauders and demon-worshiping cultists of the Burning Blade. Facilities are spartan, offering only the bare essentials for travelers, with no inn or flight master in sight. Despite the harsh conditions, a garrison of tauren and an orcish detachment sent by Warchief Thrall keep vigilant watch over the badlands.

Led by the tauren shaman Gurda Wildmane, the spiritual heart of the outpost is closely entwined with the neighboring Kodo Graveyard. Shamans stationed here tend to the dying beasts that wander in to perish, helping ease them into the next life and communing with their lingering spirits. Between spiritual communion and constant military readiness, the defenders of the post honor the ancient bond between the tauren and the mighty kodo amid the ashes of Desolace.
