Frostmane Hold

Frostmane Hold is a fortified encampment and cavern complex claimed by the Frostmane ice trolls in western Dun Morogh. Tucked into the crags south of Gnomeregan, it serves as a central staging ground for troll raiders encroaching on dwarven territory. The Ironforge Guard keeps a close watch on the hold to gauge the growing troll threat.

Carved into the freezing cliffs of western Dun Morogh, Frostmane Hold consists of rough outdoor structures and a winding cave system. For the Frostmane tribe, it functions as a primary stronghold, densely guarded by hideskinners and headhunters. From here, the trolls launch raids into the surrounding valleys, testing the defenses of nearby settlements like Kharanos and menacing travelers along the mountain passes.
