Forlorn Ridge
Forlorn Ridge is a towering mountain ridge looming over southwestern Azshara. Its strategic elevation and commanding views over the coast have drawn the attention of both the Alliance and the Horde, who have each carved out fortifications along its slopes.
A Contested Vantage
Rising sharply above the autumnal forests of western Azshara, Forlorn Ridge dominates the surrounding terrain. Resembling an ancient, long-dormant volcano, its high vantage point offers a sweeping view over the coastal approaches and the ruined elven estates below. Because control over these heights dictates military dominance in the sector, both Alliance and Horde forces have established encampments and outposts along its mountain flanks, watching each other warily across the rugged bluffs.
