Forgotten Pools

The Forgotten Pools is the northernmost of the verdant oases scattered across the arid Barrens, located just northwest of the Crossroads. Fed by subterranean springs, this vibrant pocket of lush flora and waters is bitterly contested between indigenous wildlife, wandering Kolkar centaur, and the Horde.

Situated off the western road leading out of the Crossroads, the Forgotten Pools offers a stark contrast to the parched savannas that surround it. Thick reeds, palm trees, and unusual flora like Laden Mushrooms cluster around its freshwater shore, drawing plainstriders, snapjaw turtles, and zhevras from miles around. However, the oasis is far from peaceful. Kolkar centaur maintain a constant encampment along the banks, jealously guarding the water supply against travelers and bringing them into direct conflict with Horde scouts posted nearby.
