Den of Flame
The Den of Flame is a fortified cavern in western Dustwallow Marsh, situated just west of the Stonemaul Ruins. Originally constructed by the Stonemaul ogres as their mound, it has since been overrun by the dragonkin of the black dragonflight serving Onyxia.
A Conquered Mound
Built by the Stonemaul ogres to serve as their main mound and sanctuary, the Den of Flame bears the unmistakable, rough-hewn stone architecture of ogre masonry. However, when the black dragonflight laid waste to the Stonemaul clan's settlement, the brood did not merely scatter the ogres—they seized the stronghold for themselves. Today, black dragonspawn patrol the burning perimeter and cavern entrance under the shadow of Onyxia's nearby lair.
