Darkened Bank

The Darkened Bank is the northern shoreline of Duskwood, bordering the river that separates the shadowed woods from Elwynn Forest. Stretching from the far west all the way east toward the Redridge Mountains, it marks the boundary between the relative safety of the north and the dark terrors of the forest.

Running along the southern bank of the river opposite Elwynn Forest, the Darkened Bank forms the northern edge of Duskwood. It extends from the western riverbends east toward the stone span leading to the Redridge Mountains. While visually gloomy under the pervasive canopy of Duskwood's curse, this shoreline is often the first foothold for travelers venturing south from Elwynn. Near its far western tip sits a makeshift campsite where displaced refugees, including Sven Yorgen and Lars, have taken shelter just barely outside the grasp of the deep woods.
