Boulder Lode Mine

Boulder Lode Mine is an aggressive excavation cut into the hills of the northeastern Barrens. Though orcish banners and watchtowers suggest the Horde first established the site, it is now firmly seized and operated by the ruthless Venture Company.

The presence of weathered orcish architecture around the mouth of Boulder Lode Mine indicates that the Horde once held or founded the claim. Today, however, the area crawls with Venture Company overseers and enforcers working under the direction of Boss Copperplug. The goblin syndicate strip-mines the canyon with little regard for the local ecosystem or their workers, driven purely by the search for valuable minerals, high-yield gems, and industrial machinery.
