Bladefist Bay

The story

Bladefist Bay is the rugged stretch of coast lining eastern Durotar just outside the gates of Orgrimmar. Named in honor of Kargath Bladefist, the bay serves as a natural harbor facing the Great Sea, shadowed by craggy bluffs and the nearby southern shores of Azshara.

Stretching along the northeastern edge of Durotar, Bladefist Bay opens directly into the vast waters of the Great Sea. Flanked by rocky cliffs and treacherous surf, it functions as a primary maritime threshold for the Horde capital of Orgrimmar. The tides frequently deposit driftwood, ocean refuse, and flotsam onto the coastline, earning it a reputation among locals as a natural collection point for ocean debris. Directly north, the ancient red cliffs and ruins of Azshara loom across the water, making the bay a vital maritime boundary for Durotar.
