Bear's Head
Bear's Head is a secluded mountainous stretch along the southeastern cliffs of Azshara. Named for the resident Timbermaw furbolgs whose settlements dot the rugged high ground, it serves as an outpost linked to their larger homes farther north while lying directly beneath the cliffside sanctum of Archmage Xylem.
Furbolg Outposts and Cliffside Magic
Tucked away in southeastern Azshara, Bear's Head takes its name from the encampments of uncorrupted Timbermaw furbolgs established upon its heights. These rustic settlements act as outlying camps tied to the major furbolg dens of Ursolan and Timbermaw Hold to the north. Perched atop the looming cliffs directly above the area sits Xylem's Tower, an eccentric sanctuary where Archmage Xylem and his small retinue of apprentices conduct arcane studies in quiet isolation from the rest of the troubled coastline.
