Archmage Xylem
Archmage Xylem is an eccentric and reclusive human wizard dwelling in an isolated tower atop the cliffs of northern Azshara. Known for his volatile temperament and dangerous experiments, he has withdrawn from worldly affairs to pursue esoteric arcane research. Reaching him requires magical teleportation, and he only entertains adventurers who can assist in his peculiar studies or aid his personal vendettas.
A Recluse Above the Coast
Perched high upon the jagged cliffs of northern Azshara, Archmage Xylem makes his home in a secluded spire overlooking the ruined elven coastline. Rather than building a road or trail, the wizard isolated his sanctuary entirely, relying on his servant Sanath Lim-yo to magically transport approved visitors up the cliff face. Observers across Kalimdor consider him profoundly eccentric and perilous to deal with; even fellow scholars treat him with deep caution, noting that he behaves unlike almost any other human mage.
