A Student of the Arcane
A Student of the Arcane is an introductory trial and summons for novice spellcasters on Zephras Isle. Initiated by Rorian the Dayseeker after newcomers prove their basic mettle, it directs budding mages to review a Glowing Recall Crystal and report to the local mentor, Dorii Brightwhisper.
Quest text
While you were away dealing with our vuldren problem, our resident mage trainer--Dorii Brightwhisper--left this recall crystal for you. It contains some sort of message for you, so give it a look. Afterwards, you can find Dorii in the structure just behind me.

Let me have a look at you. Yes, I believe you will make a fine young mage. The power of the arcane has waned amongst our people, but there are those who would seek to rediscover much of what we've lost in the millennia we've spent here amongst the clouds. I am sure that you will lead the charge in this never ending search for arcane knowledge, and ultimately make us proud.
Speak with me again if you wish to take your next steps.
