Quest · The Barrens · Level 24
Owatanka
Owatanka is a legendary thunder lizard known among the tauren as Bluebolt, roaming the southern plains of the Barrens. Slaying this swift, electrified beast yields a crackling tailspike that carries its bound lightning to the camp elders. Delivering this trophy to Jorn Skyseer at Camp Taurajo honors the tradition of learning from the primordial beasts of Kalimdor.

The thunder lizard Owatanka is called "Bluebolt" by the tauren, for within him resides a speed that belies his size. It is said that lightning struck Bluebolt long ago and, fed from the sky's rage, the great beast's energy is without limit.
May his energy flow through you, friend. For you now keep pace with Owatanka.
