Zardeth of the Black Claw
Zardeth of the Black Claw is a warlock dwelling in the dim subterranean chambers beneath the Slaughtered Lamb in Stormwind's Mage Quarter. Operating under the guise of an unassuming patron, he coordinates covert measures to protect the city's hidden warlock cabal from outside scrutiny. When inquisitive nobles begin looking too closely into their activities, Zardeth ensures those inquiries end permanently.
A Shadow Beneath the Lamb
While the Mage Quarter's towering spires study arcane discipline in the open, the underground tunnels beneath the Slaughtered Lamb house those who traffic in darker arts. Zardeth of the Black Claw operates from these crypts, functioning as a watchful guardian for the practitioners hiding right beneath the city guard's nose. Because the Alliance officially condemns fel magic, survival requires an ironclad secret and a willingness to eliminate any threat before royal investigators come knocking.
