Verner Osgood

Verner Osgood is the resident blacksmith of Lakeshire, stationed just outside the town smithy. Balancing local civilian trade with the crushing demands of the Stormwind military, he works tirelessly to keep horses shod and defenders armed amid relentless gnoll raids.

Standing by the forge in central Lakeshire, Verner Osgood represents the strained industrial backbone of the Redridge Mountains. Tasked with crafting basic supplies like horseshoes for local mounts, Verner finds his stock constantly co-opted to manufacture weapons and armor for the Stormwind Guard. With the kingdom stretching its borders thin and local garrisons lacking supplies, independent smiths like Verner must carry the logistical burden of the realm's defense.
