Character · Searing Gorge
Velarok
Velarok Windblade is a lone human swordsman camped amid the ash and cinder of Searing Gorge, flanked by the mutilated corpses of Dark Iron dwarves. He seeks vengeance against the local Dark Irons for the brutal murder of his father, recruiting passing travelers to forge a weapon of retribution. His single-minded hunger for vengeance drives everything he asks of those who help him.
A Son's Vengeance
Found southeast of Thorium Point, Velarok Windblade presents himself as a grieving human warrior stranded in the perilous wastes of the Searing Gorge. Surrounding his camp are the bloody, battered corpses of Dark Iron dwarves who crossed his blade. According to Velarok, these clan dwarves slaughtered his father in cold blood. Consumed by hatred, he enlists travelers to gather materials to assemble the Torch of Retribution, an enchanted weapon of vengeance against the Dark Irons and the minions of Ragnaros.
