Undertaker Mordo

Keeping the crypt of Deathknell in Tirisfal Glades, Undertaker Mordo watches over the dead as corpses break free from the Scourge's shattered grip. For every newly liberated Forsaken who wakes in the cold of the crypt, Mordo provides their initial bearing in an unrecognizable second life. He assesses their sanity, introduces them to the reality of their condition, and immediately directs them toward duty under Queen Sylvanas Windrunner.

Not every body brought to the crypt wakes. Mordo does not wait long: the corpses that stay still are tossed into the fire, and those who do stir are greeted with dry impatience and little ceremony. Anyone who rises with their wits intact is sent up the steps and down the road to Shadow Priest Sarvis in the chapel, who explains their new existence. The mindless zombies that overrun the north of the village are Sarvis's concern, not Mordo's; the shadow priest sends the newly risen out to destroy them.
