Tommy Joe Stonefield
Tommy Joe Stonefield is a young farmer caught in a bitter family rivalry in the heart of Elwynn Forest. Deeply in love with Maybell Maclure, he must rely on quiet riverbanks and secret messages to keep their romance hidden from their feuding kin.
A Star-Crossed Feud
Standing by the riverbank just west of the Stonefield Farm, Tommy Joe Stonefield spends his days looking across the water toward the Maclure homestead. The Stonefields and Maclures have harbored bad blood for years, clashing over land, pride, and petty farmyard squabbles. Yet despite the hostility preached by his elders, Tommy Joe has fallen head over heels for Maybell Maclure. Unable to meet openly without sparking outrage from both households, he depends on trusted intermediaries and his sympathetic grandmother, Gramma Stonefield, to exchange secret notes and tokens of affection.
