Star-Crossed in the Vineyards
Life on the Maclure Vineyards is defined by endless labor and an enduring grudge against the neighboring Stonefield family. Caught in the middle is Maybell Maclure, who has fallen deeply in love with Tommy Joe Stonefield, the young heir to the rival farmstead. Kept apart by vigilant relatives and ancient family resentment, Maybell is desperate for any chance to communicate with Tommy Joe beyond the prying eyes of her kin.
