Operating amid the wharves and workshops of Booty Bay, Scooty holds court as one of the Steamwheedle Cartel's most ambitious tinkerers. While typical goblins obsess over gunpowder and explosives, Scooty turned his attention to instantaneous molecular transport. By calibrating complex transponder systems, he manages a direct operational link to a teleportation pad situated inside Gnomeregan. Horde forces looking to breach the subterranean gnome stronghold rely heavily on Scooty's tinkering to bypass treacherous Alliance territory altogether.

Maintaining experimental goblin teleporters is rarely a dull enterprise. Scooty and his partner Sovik built the Transpolyporter 6000 after word reached them of a new gnomish rig in Gnomeregan, and by Scooty's own cheerful admission it has only exploded a dozen or so times. Despite the obvious physical perils involved in being dematerialized across continents, Scooty remains entirely confident in his genius, dismissing every catastrophic mechanical hiccup as merely a minor obstacle on the road to true innovation.
