Mastok Wrilehiss
Mastok Wrilehiss is an orc officer stationed at Splintertree Post in eastern Ashenvale. Serving as a crucial defensive coordinator for the Horde in the contested forest, he directs scouts and warriors to secure nearby borders and handle corrupting elemental threats. His presence is vital for maintaining the precarious foothold the Horde holds amidst constant night elf hostility.
A Bulwark in the Ancient Woods
Splintertree Post stands deep in the shadow of Ashenvale's towering canopy, completely surrounded by hostile night elven territory. Mastok Wrilehiss serves as one of the post's core defenders, monitoring supply routes and forest activity. The position is perilous; any sign of weakness invites swift strikes from the Sentinels who view the settlement as a despoiling intrusion.
Coordinating the Front
From his vantage within the stockade, Mastok actively tasks passing adventurers with critical strategic duties. He keeps watchful eyes on the borders leading into neighboring territories like the Stonetalon Mountains and dispatches scouts to consult shamans such as Je'neu Sancrea of the Earthen Ring at Zoram'gar Strand. His duties bridge military defense with monitoring the strange, corrupting forces afflicting the local elementals.
