Gakin the Darkbinder

Gakin the Darkbinder is a master warlock operating covertly deep beneath The Slaughtered Lamb tavern in Stormwind's Mage Quarter. He instructs aspiring Alliance practitioners in the dark arts, testing their resolve before initiating rituals to summon and bind otherworldly demons to their service.

While Stormwind's mages practice openly in their towering sanctuaries, practitioners of shadow and fel must dwell where prying eyes cannot reach. Hidden below the taproom of The Slaughtered Lamb is a damp crypt-like cellar equipped with summoning circles and grim tomes. Gakin serves as the anchor of this hidden conclave, ensuring that young warlocks learn discipline and restraint before unleashing horrors they cannot control.
