Elder Darkcore
Elder Darkcore is an ancient spirit who appears during the Lunar Festival within the throne room of the Ruins of Lordaeron above the Undercity. Representing the honored ancestors of the world, he offers his blessing and festive tokens to travelers who seek him out. His presence marks a peaceful, reflective moment amidst the ruins of a fallen human kingdom.
A Spirit in the Throne Room
During the annual Lunar Festival, the spirits of ancient elders manifest across Azeroth to share their wisdom with adventurers. Elder Darkcore takes his vigil in one of the world's most somber locations: the royal throne room in the Ruins of Lordaeron, directly above the entrance to the Undercity. Surrounded by the blood-stained floor where King Terenas Menethil II fell, this spectral ancestor offers a Coin of Ancestry and his blessing to those brave enough to enter the heart of Forsaken territory to pay their respects.
