Aelthalyste

Unlike many priests across Azeroth who revere the Holy Light, Aelthalyste guides Forsaken priests who have turned from the Light toward the power of shadow. Rising as an incorporeal banshee, she embodies the spectral agony and relentless resolve of Sylvanas Windrunner's followers. From her chamber in the Undercity's War Quarter, she calls aspiring priests back from distant outposts to master the darker arts of their discipline, teaching them to harness suffering as a lethal weapon.

While her focus remains firmly on her Forsaken flock, Aelthalyste maintains mutual respect with other Horde spiritual practitioners. Recognizing the distinct nature of Darkspear spiritualism, she directs troll initiates away from her own shadow doctrines and sends them across the sea to Ur'kyo in Orgrimmar. This gesture of deference ensures that Horde spellcasters develop within their cultural traditions while cementing alliances between Kalimdor and Lordaeron.
