Wood Pulp
Wood pulp is a fibrous material carried by the dwarven personnel stationed at Bael Modan in the southern Barrens. Though harmless on its own, it serves as a key absorbent base used by the Bael'dun expedition to stabilize liquid explosives.
A Volatile Recipe
The Ironforge dwarves at Bael Modan use heavy earth-moving equipment and chemical explosives to rip open the earth across ancestral tauren hunting grounds. Liquid nitroglycerin is notoriously unstable on its own; to make it practical for excavation and combat, dwarven engineers absorb the liquid into porous wood pulp alongside sodium nitrate to pack stable charges. Dwarven riflemen, soldiers, and officers keep bundles of this fibrous material on hand for sapping operations and field munitions.
