Top of Gelkak's Key
The Top of Gelkak's Key is one of three shattered fragments of a mechanical key belonging to the shipwrecked gnome Gelkak Gyromast. After his vessel was lost off the coast of Darkshore, this jagged brass section was snatched up by a giant foreststrider roaming the nearby woods.
A Shattered Mechanism
When Gelkak Gyromast's ship was attacked and sunk by ravenous threshadons off the coast of Darkshore, the gnome washed ashore clutching the winding key meant for his mechanical first mate. The impact against the coastal rocks broke the instrument into three pieces. Before the dizzy pirate could gather his wits, the indigenous beasts scavenged the wreckage, with a giant foreststrider making off with this ornate upper portion into the misty forest.
