Sealed Note to Watcher Backus
The Sealed Note to Watcher Backus is a confidential dispatch written by master cheese merchant and informant Elling Trias. Addressed to a member of the Night Watch patrolling the road outside Darkshire, it calls in a personal favor to gather intelligence on Defias activity in Duskwood.
A Word for the Watch
When Jorgen's sealed note drags him into the hunt for the missing diplomat, cheese monger Elling Trias grudgingly agrees to put his own contacts to work. He pens this wax-sealed missive to Watcher Backus, a Night Watch guard stationed in Duskwood. Trias sends an adventurer south through the gloomy forest to deliver it by hand, using his longstanding rapport with Backus to secure any reports of Defias presence wandering near Darkshire.
