When the goblin engineer Fizziks was abruptly ejected from the Venture Company's logging operations in the Stonetalon Mountains, he did not leave empty-handed. Stuffing internal manuals, operating procedures, and technical specifications into this envelope, he managed to smuggle out company secrets under the noses of his former overseers. Most prized among these stolen records are the technical schematics for the Super Reaper 6000, a devastating piece of industrial clear-cutting machinery.

Rather than keeping the dangerous trade secrets buried, Fizziks sends the packet south to Sputtervalve, an engineer residing in the neutral goblin port of Ratchet. While business rivals in the Steamwheedle Cartel have little personal love or trust for Fizziks, the engineering value of the designs inside the envelope is undeniable. The documents provide a clear window into Venture Company mechanical ingenuity and give independent engineers a chance to exploit the Venture Company's advanced logging technologies.
