The curled horns of Ashenvale's satyrs are stark symbols of demonic corruption taken root in the sacred forest. For the dryad Illiyana at the Shrine of Aessina, gathering these severed horns is a matter of grief and vengeance for her lost sister Anilia. To outside traders like the traveling goblin Pixel resting at Splintertree Post, however, the horns represent raw opportunity. Demand for satyr horns has surged in the neutral port of Ratchet, transforming these macabre remnants of slain demons into lucrative trade goods for anyone daring enough to hunt their bearers.

Satyr Horns cannot be bought from ordinary suppliers; they must be cut directly from the beasts lurking in the dark corners of the woodland. The satyrs maintain strongholds across Ashenvale, most notoriously in the corrupted groves of Xavian, the shadowed hollows of Satyrnaar, and the ruins of Night Run. Clearing these enclaves rids the land of lingering demonic taint while keeping both grieving guardians and eager merchants supplied with proof of the cull.
