When a warlock seeks to bind a predator as volatile as a felhunter, raw willpower is rarely enough. Strahad Farsan requires three matched rods to allow his acolytes to channel their magic in concert, stabilizing the summoning circle while the practitioner undertakes the binding. The Dragonmaw clan's darkcasters, including the bonewarders and shadowwarders haunting the Angerfang Encampment and surrounding ruins in the Wetlands, carry these implements for their own fell workings. Though typically worn and nicked from combat, the rods remain potent focuses capable of directing chaotic nether energy.
