Restabilization Cog
Restabilization Cogs are precision mechanical components salvaged from the leper gnomes wandering outside the irradiated ruins of Gnomeregan. In Kharanos, gnomish tinkerers require these intact parts to construct the Recombobulator, an ambitious machine intended to reverse leper mutation.
Components for a Cure
When radiation flooded Gnomeregan in a disastrous attempt to wipe out the invading troggs, countless gnomes were twisted into sick, hostile leper gnomes. Despite their madness, these afflicted exiles still carry intricate gnomish machinery and salvageable fittings. Tinkers Ozzie Togglevolt and Razzle Sprysprocket believe the horrific transformation can be systematically undone. To finish their prototype Recombobulation Device, they rely on adventurers to recover vital parts directly from the afflicted outside Gnomeregan's gates, including intact Restabilization Cogs to balance the machine's inner combustion systems.
