Rattlecage Skull
Rattlecage Skulls are the shattered remnants of mindless undead roaming the ruined outskirts of Deathknell. Novice Forsaken warlocks must gather these calcified trophies for Venya Marthand to demonstrate their emerging will and qualify for the dark arts of summoning.
A Neophyte's Test
Within the sunless bounds of Deathknell, newly raised Forsaken with an affinity for dark magic are guided by Venya Marthand. To prove that a fledgling practitioner has the fortitude to bend extraplanar creatures to their command, Venya tasks them with subduing the lingering Rattlecage Skeletons near the ruined smithy. Striking down these lesser undead and retrieving their severed skulls serves as both a practical test of discipline and a ritual foundation before learning to breach the void and enslave a first demonic minion.
