Nondescript Letter
The Nondescript Letter is a sealed, unmarked missive entrusted to newly awakened Forsaken leaving Deathknell. Handed over by Calvin Montague under the guise of an errand, it directs the bearer down the road to Innkeeper Renee at the Gallows' End Tavern in Brill.
A Courier's Errand
Newly arisen Forsaken looking to venture beyond Deathknell are approached by Calvin Montague, a shifty rogue lingering near the village perimeter. Claiming to be weary from fighting mindless zombies and arachnids, Calvin asks travelers to carry a plain, unmarked envelope along the eastward road to Brill. Addressed casually to an innkeeper named Renee, the letter serves as an excuse to push travelers out of the valley and toward the Gallows' End Tavern, though Calvin's promises of rich compensation ring hollow from the start.
