Nightmare Shard
The Nightmare Shard is a crystalline relic handed to couriers by Falla Sagewind after she examines a tainted glowing shard recovered from the Wailing Caverns. Containing the pure, disturbed essence of the Emerald Dream, it carries a troubling vision that prompts immediate warning and secrecy among senior druids in Darnassus and Thunder Bluff.
A Corrupted Vision
When Falla Sagewind inspects the mysterious glowing shard unearthed deep within the Wailing Caverns, she realizes its energy is far darker than anticipated. Rather than mirroring the serene vitality of the Emerald Dream, the fragment reflects a twisting, unnatural affliction—a waking nightmare. Fearful of what its presence implies, she binds this tainted essence into the Nightmare Shard and commands that it be ferried straight to elder leaders of the Cenarion Circle without delay.
