Lunar Fungus

Harvested from Lunar Fungal Blooms, this distinctive fungus thrives in dark, subterranean caverns across Darkshore. The Cenarion Circle values it for its amplifying effects; when blended with a soothing water base and common Earthroot, the fungus provides the necessary potency to create an effective counteragent against debilitating afflictions. Because it grows primarily in damp underground spaces frequented by territorial moonkin, obtaining it requires careful navigation of the untamed wilderness.

In Auberdine, Alanndarian Nightsong directs young druids to harvest Lunar Fungus as part of their studies into nature's restorative arts. By witnessing how physical reagents like this fungus counteract virulent poisons in the local deer, initiates learn the underlying principles of herbal remedies before advancing to channel natural antidotes directly through shapeshifting and raw spiritual power.
