Letter to Ello
The Letter to Ello is a sealed missive penned by Abercrombie, an eccentric hermit dwelling in a shack just north of Raven Hill Cemetery in Duskwood. Addressed to Mayor Ello Ebonlocke of Darkshire, the letter is delivered under the hermit's claim of old friendship, though its contents are written in an archaic script.
A Bizarre Greeting
After adventurers assist the hermit Abercrombie with tasks around Duskwood, the old recluse entrusts them with this note, claiming Mayor Ello Ebonlocke is an old friend who will celebrate what has been accomplished. In reality, Darkshire's mayor has no recollection of anyone named Abercrombie. Upon breaking the seal, Mayor Ebonlocke discovers he cannot decipher a single phrase of the archaic script, prompting him to send the note to Darkshire's scholar, Sirra Von'Indi, for translation.
