Laced Pumpkin
A Laced Pumpkin is an ordinary gourd treated with a lethal concoction developed by Apothecary Johaan in Brill. Handed to a starving, imprisoned Scarlet Crusader under the guise of sustenance, it serves as a live field test for the Forsaken's growing arsenal of alchemical weapons.
A Bitter Harvest
To the untrained eye, the laced pumpkin appears to be ordinary produce salvaged from the blighted soil of Tirisfal Glades. Under the supervision of Apothecary Johaan in Brill, however, the vegetable is treated with experimental toxins designed to realize the full potential of undeath. The Royal Apothecary Society constantly seeks new weapons to repel both the Scourge in the north and living human forces advancing from the south, turning even simple harvest goods into vectors for infection and chemical death.
