Kodo Liver
A Kodo Liver is a hefty organ harvested from the massive kodos roaming the plains of the Barrens. While hardly standard culinary fare, Brewmaster Drohn in Ratchet requires it as a vital ingredient for fermenting an unorthodox trogg ale learned from the wandering brewmaster Chen Stormstout.
A Bizarre Brewing Reagent
The great kodos of the Barrens are primarily hunted by the tauren and wandering predators for their tough hides and nourishing meat. However, a fresh kodo liver serves a much more eccentric purpose in the port town of Ratchet. Brewmaster Drohn uses the organ alongside thunderhawk saliva glands and lightning glands to recreate a potent brew Chen Stormstout taught him: trogg ale. Drohn claims this unusual blend possesses a formidable kick, providing adventurous travelers with a hearty concoction straight from the wilds of central Kalimdor.
