Jennea's Flask

Following the cataclysmic magical struggles across Azeroth, the natural flow of arcane currents has torn loose from its ancient channels. In Stormwind, Jennea Cannon seeks to understand how deeply these mystical shifts have affected Elwynn Forest. She provides this simple glass flask to promising apprentices, sending them southwest of the capital's gates to draw fresh water from the base of the waterfall at Mirror Lake. Once filled, the container protects the delicate sample so it can be brought back to the Wizard's Sanctum intact for arcane analysis.

The primary concern driving the use of the flask is public safety. If fluctuating ley lines begin to seep magical taint into Mirror Lake, the surrounding ecosystem and anyone drinking from its waters could suffer strange or harmful afflictions. Collecting a pristine sample in Jennea's flask allows the mages of Stormwind to detect invisible magical residue before tainted currents can spread undetected throughout the countryside.
