The Heavy Leaden Collection Phial is a shielded sampling vessel provided by Ozzie Togglevolt in Kharanos. It is designed to safely siphon and contain highly unstable irradiated discharge from the mutants deep inside Gnomeregan for ongoing decontamination research.

The Heavy Leaden Collection Phial is a sampling vessel used to draw volatile residues from living, irradiated creatures in Gnomeregan. Containing this fallout is difficult, and collecting a suitable sample may take several attempts.
Pursuit of a Cure
Ozzie Togglevolt provides the phial as part of his research to reverse the horrific mutations afflicting leper gnomes. Earlier samples taken from surface troggs lacked the potency needed for effective chemical analysis. By using the leaden phial on virulent beasts like irradiated slimes and lurkers in the Hall of Gears, researchers hope to isolate the active elements of the city's toxic fallout and formulate an effective antidote.
