Furen's Notes

When Furen Longbeard completes the rigorous forging of specialized warrior armaments in Stormwind's Dwarven District, he compiles the methods and breakthroughs he discovered along the way into written notes. Dwarven metallurgy is ever-evolving, and Furen makes multiple copies of these treatises so his peers can replicate and expand upon his findings. The documents capture practical advancements in tempering, reinforcing, and shaping armor against lethal combat blows.

Furen distributes his notes to trusted contacts within the Alliance's crafting networks. While local masters like Grimand Elmore might scoff at being schooled by a peer they claim to have tutored, the value of the insights cannot be ignored. Copies are even carried overseas across the Great Sea to night elven craftsmen such as Mathiel on the Warrior's Terrace in Darnassus, bridging the gaps between distinct ancestral traditions through shared martial necessity.
