Empty Brown Waterskin
The Empty Brown Waterskin is an elemental vessel provided by Brine during a shaman's trials in the Barrens. Used to gather water from a nearby oasis, it serves as the first physical tool in learning the delicate, contested nature of water in an arid land.
A Lesson in Scarcity
In the sun-baked plains of the Barrens, water is far more than a resource; it is life itself and a constant spark for war. The hermit Brine entrusts an initiate with this simple leather skin as the opening trial of the Call of Water. The task seems modest—carry the empty vessel down to the watering hole beneath her dwelling and bring it back full. Yet in drawing from that solitary pool, the bearer immediately confronts the harsh truth of the land: every drop of liquid is jealously guarded by local quilboar who view the oasis as an invaluable hoard, forcing the initiate to understand how water both sustains life and drives mortals to violence.
