Call of Water
Call of Water is a spiritual quest in the Wetlands guiding an initiate on the path to earning the sapta. By gathering brackish estuary water where mountain falls meet sea tides, the seeker learns the vital energies of water while navigating the hazards of the marsh.
Quest text
Ah, so ye've come seekin' the sapta, have ye? Well then, listen close, love. To find understandin' and earn the sapta, ye must seek water in its various forms. As ye gather the samples, keep yer eyes open. Watch the beasts that guard it, the land it nourishes, and how it changes lives.
We'll start simple: fill this skin at the base o' the falls, where the fresh meets the brackish. Go on now, and mind the marsh.

I'm nearly ready to send ye off on the rest o' yer tasks. But tell me, have ye filled the skin yet? The ocean brings life, aye--but it carries sediment, minerals, and energies far different from the snowmelt and springwater of the highlands. Where sea and spring meet, there's wisdom to be found.

Glad ye managed to steer clear o' the Dark Iron. Shame they've crept so far north--makes ye wonder what dwarfkind could do if the clans ever stopped squabblin' and worked as one.
Still, the tides rise high when the moons are strong, and the seawater floods the marsh. It's here that we study our estuary water.
