Corrupted Kor Gem

Kor gems naturally possess the rare ability to capture and contain substantial magical energies, making them invaluable focuses for sorcerers and enchanted smithing. Along the coastline near the ruins of Blackfathom Deeps, however, the resident naga oracles and tide priestesses claim these gems for their own shadowy rituals. Through foul enchantments, the serpent-kin warp the stone, suffusing it with malevolent, sea-borne corruption. While this infusion taints the gem's nature, the core latent power remains potent, drawing those in need of exceptional magical foci to harvest them from the naga.
