Cloven Hoof

Held within an ancient brazier at the deepest recess of Splithoof Hold, the Cloven Hoof is one of the most treasured relics of the Galak centaur. The artifact is continually enveloped in a magical flame, requiring blessed water to briefly quench the blaze so it can be handled. Centaur society is notoriously brutal and splintered into violent clans, but their reverence for the brazier suggests ritual significance tied directly to their origins. Tauren observers like Rau Cliffrunner at Freewind Post believe the strange aura radiating from the hoof could reveal critical insight into the race that has plagued Kalimdor's plains for generations.
