Cliffspring River Sample

The Cliffspring River flows down from the rugged eastern heights of Darkshore, tumbling past ancient stone bridges before washing out into the sea along Mist's Edge. Lately, the river's crystalline waters have turned foul and visibly corrupted. Fearing that the toxic wash will soon contaminate Auberdine's shoreline and water supply, the night elf Thundris Windweaver commissioned travelers to draw this water sample directly from the pool beneath the river's lower waterfall. The sample confirms the worst: unnatural rot is drifting steadily downstream toward the coast.
