Anaya's Pendant
Anaya's Pendant is a keepsake carried by the restless ghost of Anaya Dawnrunner among the ruins of Ameth'Aran. It serves as a tragic token of remembrance for her lover, Cerellean Whiteclaw, who survived the Sundering only to find her spirit still tormented millennia later.
A Keepsake Across Millennia
Ten thousand years ago, during the cataclysmic destruction of the Well of Eternity, the ancient kaldorei city of Ameth'Aran fell in ruin. Believing his beloved Anaya had perished, Cerellean Whiteclaw carried his profound grief into the long slumber alongside Shan'do Malfurion Stormrage. When he at last awakened, he wandered Darkshore only to discover that Anaya's tormented apparition still drifted through Ameth'Aran, bearing this very pendant. Unable to bear raising a hand against her himself, Cerellean asks passing travelers to release her spirit and recover the heirloom.
