Witherbark Village
Witherbark Village is a forest troll settlement nestled around a secluded lake in the southeastern hills of the Arathi Highlands. Inhabited by the hostile Witherbark tribe, it serves as a staging ground for troll raiders contesting both the Alliance remnants of Stromgarde and the Horde outpost at Hammerfall.
Stronghold of the Forest Trolls
Built along the shores of a quiet mountain lake, Witherbark Village houses the fierce forest trolls of the Witherbark tribe. While fishers, axe throwers, and witch doctors occupy the hut-lined waterfront, tribal leaders such as Zalas Witherbark and deadly shadow hunters oversee operations from a massive cavern cavern tucked behind the settlement. The Witherbark maintain an opportunistic alliance with the Boulderfist ogres of Arathi, working together to carve out territory across the highlands—even establishing a firm foothold amidst the ruins of Stromgarde Keep. Fiercely territorial, they lash out at any outsider venturing into their corner of the basin.
