Windfury Ridge

Windfury Ridge is a rugged highland area flanking the pastures of Mulgore. Notorious for harboring vicious harpies alongside predatory wolves and cougars, it poses a constant hazard to travelers while offering prized feathers to tauren artisans.

Windfury Ridge rises sharply above Mulgore's serene plains, serving as the hunting grounds of the Windfury harpies. These vicious winged creatures nest high along the crags, readily swooping down upon any unwary wanderers who skirt the hills. The rocky terrain is further populated by prowling prairie wolves and wild mountain cougars, making the ridge one of the more treacherous borders of the tauren heartland. Despite the danger, the harpies are frequently hunted by brave tauren warriors; their vibrant, iridescent plumage is highly sought after across Thunder Bluff to adorn ceremonial garments for lavish feasts and wedding celebrations.
