Wildmane Water Well
The story
The Wildmane Water Well is the northernmost of the sacred water wells scattered across Mulgore, resting just north of the mesas of Thunder Bluff. Vital to the plains and their herds, it has become a contested flashpoint targeted by goblin opportunists seeking to choke the tauren's lifeblood.
For generations, the nomadic tauren have relied on sacred water wells dug across the golden plains of Mulgore to sustain their people and their wandering kodo herds. The Wildmane Well guards the northern expanse just beyond the shadow of Thunder Bluff. Its vital importance makes it an irresistible target for enemies of the tribes. The goblins of the Venture Company have fouled it with their poisons in a bid to control the regional water supply, and only a cleansing ritual with a totem crafted by the tauren can make its waters pure again.
